Creamy Ranch Steak & Mozzarella Garlic Butter Pasta
Ingredients:
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch strips
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp ranch seasoning
1 lb pasta (penne, rotini, or your favorite shape)
1/2 cup butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Season the steak strips generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and ranch seasoning. Toss to coat evenly.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked to your desired doneness (about 5-7 minutes). Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
3. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
4. While the pasta is cooking, melt the butter in the same skillet used for the steak over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, or until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the creamy garlic sauce and toss to coat. If the sauce is too thick, add a little of the reserved pasta water until you reach your desired consistency.
7. Stir in the cooked steak strips and mozzarella cheese. Cook for another minute or two, until the mozzarella is melted and the sauce is creamy and delicious.
8. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
