Breakfast Potatoes
Perfectly seasoned and so delicious! These are a must try if you love potatoes. They are a delicious addition to any breakfast or brunch spread. I personally could eat them anytime of the day.
~~Ingredients~~
4-5 medium-sized red bliss potatoes, diced into bite size pieces
1/2 cup chopped Vidalia onions
1/2 cup chopped green bell peppers
1 heaping tablespoon bacon grease or Bacon-Up
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon Accent
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
~~Instructions ~~
To a large skillet over medium high heat, add the bacon grease and butter.
Then add the potatoes, onions and peppers. Sauté for 1 minute, then add your seasonings. Stir to fully distribute seasonings. Let cook for 15 - 20 minutes, until the potatoes are fork tender.
Taste for seasoning, adjust salt & pepper accordingly to taste preference.
Serving Suggestions:
Pair these crispy breakfast potatoes with scrambled eggs, avocado slices, toast, bacon, sausage or ham, biscuits for a complete breakfast.
Serve as a side dish for brunch alongside toast and fresh fruit, or serve with a steak or breakfast chops.
