CREAMY CAJUN GARLIC CHICKEN TORTELLINI

Ingredients:

1 (20 oz) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
5 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp unsalted butter
1½ cups heavy cream
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)

Directions:

1. Cook the cheese tortellini in salted boiling water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2. Season sliced chicken with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Add seasoned chicken and sear until golden and fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
5. Pour in heavy cream and stir in cream cheese. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
6. Add Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, stirring constantly until the sauce is thick, cheesy, and silky.
7. Toss in the cooked tortellini and chicken, stirring gently to coat everything in the creamy sauce.
8. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes until everything is hot and bubbling.
9. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately—extra creamy and cheesy!
