Double Bacon Cheeseburger
Ingredients (Serves 2)For the Burgers:
1 lb (450g) ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
4 slices cheddar cheese
8 strips bacon
2 burger buns, split and toasted
Instructions
1. Prepare the Bacon:In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips until crispy, about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally.
Remove the bacon and drain on paper towels. Set aside.

2. Form and Cook the Patties:In a bowl, mix the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties, about 1/2-inch thick.
Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat (about 400°F/200°C). Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes per side for medium (160°F/71°C internally).
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt the cheese.

3. Assemble the Burgers:Place the toasted bun bottoms on a plate. Stack two cheese-topped patties on each bun.
Top each stack with 4 strips of bacon.
Add the bun tops and secure with a toothpick if needed.

Serving Suggestion:Serve the burgers hot with a side of fries or onion rings, and condiments like ketchup, mayo, or mustard on the side. Pair with a cold soda or beer for a classic meal.
