😋💕Cranberry Orange Drip Cake💕😋

Ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
4 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
2-3 tablespoons fresh orange juice (for glaze)
1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
1 tablespoon orange zest
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup dried cranberries
Sliced oranges and cranberry for garnish

Instructions:

Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans to ensure your cake comes out easily once baked.
In a medium bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk them together until well mixed, then set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together using a mixer until the mixture is light and fluffy. This should take about 3-4 minutes.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition to ensure a smooth batter.
Stir in the orange zest, fresh orange juice, and vanilla extract until everything is well combined.
Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, alternating with the whole milk. Begin and end with the dry mixture. Mix until everything is just combined—do not overmix!
Gently fold in the dried cranberries, making sure they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Divide the batter evenly between the two prepared cake pans. Smooth the tops with a spatula for an even bake.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. To check for doneness, insert a toothpick into the center of the cake—if it comes out clean, it’s ready.
Once baked, let the cakes cool in the pans for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

For the delicious orange glaze:
Whisk together the powdered sugar and 2-3 tablespoons of fresh orange juice in a small bowl until smooth. Adjust the thickness by adding more juice or powdered sugar as needed.
Place one cooled cake layer on a serving plate and drizzle it generously with the orange glaze. Top this layer with the second cake layer and drizzle more glaze on top for that delightful drip effect.
Finish by garnishing with fresh sliced orange and cranberries and sprinkle of orange zest for an extra pop of color and flavor if desired.

Slice, Serve and Enjoy 😋💕😊
