Spicy Cucumber Pickles
Ingredients:
2 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp chili flakes
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 cloves garlic, smashed
1 tbsp salt
Directions:
In a small saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and mustard seeds. Heat until the sugar dissolves, then remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
In a glass jar, layer the cucumber slices, garlic cloves, and chili flakes.
Pour the vinegar mixture over the cucumbers until fully submerged.
Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. For best flavor, allow them to sit overnight.
Serve as a tangy, spicy snack or side dish!
