Cottage Cheese-Stuffed Chicken Breasts
Juicy, cheesy, and full of fresh flavor, these Cottage Cheese-Stuffed Chicken Breasts make a simple dinner feel totally special with minimal effort!
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup (240 g) cottage cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup (30 g) breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon (1 g) dried Italian herbs
1 teaspoon (2 g) lemon zest
¼ cup (25 g) grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
2. In a bowl, mix cottage cheese, garlic, breadcrumbs, dried herbs, lemon zest, and Parmesan.
3. Cut a pocket into the side of each chicken breast without slicing all the way through.
4. Stuff each pocket generously with the cottage cheese mixture.
5. Secure with toothpicks if needed.
6. Place stuffed chicken breasts in the baking dish.
7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
8. Optionally, pan-sear each side before baking for extra color and flavor.
