Baked Pears with Feta, Honey, and Cranberries

Ingredients:
4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
1/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
2 tablespoons honey, preferably raw
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: Chopped walnuts for garnish

Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Halve the pears and carefully scoop out the cores using a spoon or melon baller to make space for the filling.
Arrange the pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish. Drizzle them with olive oil and ensure they are evenly coated.
Fill each pear center with crumbled feta cheese and chopped cranberries.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the pears soften and the feta just begins to brown slightly at the edges.
Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle each pear half with honey while still warm.
Sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves, a light touch of salt, and cracked black pepper.
Optionally, garnish with chopped walnuts for added crunch.
