I made some acorn cookies for my bonus daughter and son's baby shower. Hershey kisses, nutter butter bite size pieces, and miniature semi sweet chocolate chips.
EDIT: the recipe called for 1/2 cup of miniature semi sweet chocolate chips, 48 plus nutter butter bite cookies, Hershey kisses. Reserve the same amount of the miniature chocolate chips for the amount of cookies you plan on making. Melt the rest of the chocolate chips. Apply a small amount of melted chocolate onto the Hershey kisses and press onto the cookie. I used a toothpick to apply the chocolate to the miniature chocolate chip for the stems. Let set on Parchment paper. Store in air tight concontainer.
