WOULD YOU EAT THIS TREMENDOUS PIZZA GRILLED CHEESE FEAST 🍕🧀
Ingredients:
4 slices of white or whole wheat bread
4 tbsp butter, softened
1/4 cup pizza sauce
8 slices mozzarella cheese
12 slices pepperoni
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
Optional: additional pizza toppings (sliced olives, cooked sausage, bell peppers)
Instructions:
Prepare the Bread:
Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. The buttered side will be the outside of your sandwich.
Assemble the Grilled Cheese:
On the unbuttered side of two slices of bread, spread about 2 tbsp of pizza sauce on each.
Top each slice with 2 slices of mozzarella cheese, a layer of pepperoni (or other toppings), and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.
Cook the Grilled Cheese:
Place the remaining slices of bread on top, buttered side out.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is fully melted.
Serve:
Remove the sandwiches from the skillet and let them cool slightly before slicing.
Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping if desired.
