🍎 Air Fryer Apple Fritters 🍯
Ingredients
Fritter Batter
2 apples, cored and diced (peel if you like)
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
⅓ cup milk
2 Tbsp butter, melted
1 egg
½ tsp lemon juice
Cinnamon Glaze
½ cup confectioners’ sugar
2 Tbsp milk
½ tsp ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Instructions
Prep the apples

Dice the apples into small cubes. Optionally peel them. Set aside.

Mix the dry ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Combine wet ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, egg, and lemon juice.

Form the batter

Pour the wet mix into the dry ingredients, stirring just until combined. Fold in the diced apples.

Chill (optional but helpful)

Cover the batter and refrigerate anywhere from 5 minutes up to 2 days. Chilling helps the batter thicken and improves the texture.

Air fry

Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (≈ 188°C).

Line the basket with a parchment paper round to avoid sticking.

Using about 2‐Tbsp scoops, drop balls of fritter batter into the basket, spacing so they’re not touching.

Air fry for 6-7 minutes, until the fritters are cooked through and golden.

Make the glaze

While fritters cook, whisk together confectioners’ sugar, milk, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until smooth.

Finish and serve

Remove fritters from the air fryer. Place on a rack or plate. Immediately drizzle or spread the glaze over them. Serve warm.
