Burger Lover’s Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients:

1 pound pasta (penne, rotini, or your favorite shape)
1/2 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup burger sauce (optional, see note below)
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2. While the pasta is cooking, brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
3. Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
4. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, milk, Parmesan cheese, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly. If the sauce is too thick, add a little more milk to reach your desired consistency.
5. Stir in the cooked pasta and burger sauce (if using). Heat through, making sure the pasta is coated in the sauce.
6. If desired, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and let it melt into the sauce.
7. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions (if desired).

Note: For the burger sauce, you can use your favorite store-bought burger sauce or make your own by combining mayonnaise, ketchup, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, and a dash of garlic powder to taste. Adjust the quantities to your liking.
