📝 Ingredients:
For the Steak & Shrimp:
1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp cumin
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
Salt & pepper to taste
For the Toppings:
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 avocado, sliced
½ cup diced tomatoes
¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced
Fresh cilantro, chopped
Lime wedges
Optional Sauce:
½ cup sour cream
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp hot sauce or sriracha
Pinch of salt
For the Base:
8 small corn or flour tortillas, warmed
🔥 Directions:
Season & Marinate:
In a bowl, mix oil, lime juice, and all the seasonings.
Divide marinade between steak and shrimp in separate bowls. Let marinate for 15–30 minutes.
Cook the Protein:
Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
Sear steak slices until cooked through (about 2–3 mins per side). Remove and set aside.
Cook shrimp in the same pan for 2 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
Make the Sauce (Optional):
Whisk sour cream, lime juice, hot sauce, and a pinch of salt together. Set aside.
Assemble Tacos:
Fill tortillas with steak and shrimp.
Top with lettuce, avocado, tomatoes, red onion, and cilantro.
Drizzle with lime crema or hot sauce, and serve with lime wedges.
