Delicious Kulfi Ice Cream π¦π
Ingredients:
4 cups whole milk π₯
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk π―
1/4 cup powdered sugar π¬
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom πΏ
1/4 cup chopped nuts (pistachios, almonds, cashews) π₯
Saffron strands for garnish (optional) πΌ
Chopped pistachios for garnish (optional) π°
Directions:
1. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat the whole milk over medium heat until it starts to simmer.
2. Once itβs simmering, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer, stirring frequently, until the milk reduces by half. This should take about 30-40 minutes.
3. Now, add in the sweetened condensed milk, powdered sugar, ground cardamom, and those lovely chopped nuts to the reduced milk mixture. Give it a good stir!
4. Let it simmer for another 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens up a bit.
5. Allow the mixture to cool down to room temperature.
6. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds or small cups, insert sticks, and freeze for at least 6 hours.
7. When youβre ready to serve, pop out your scrumptious kulfi and garnish with saffron strands and chopped pistachios if youβd like.
