French Coconut Pie 🥥🥧
Ingredients:
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
¾ cup evaporated milk (or heavy cream for extra richness)
¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Filling:
In a mixing bowl, whisk together sugar, melted butter, eggs, flour, vanilla, coconut, evaporated milk, and salt until well combined.
Assemble the Pie:
Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust, spreading it evenly.
Bake:
Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
If the crust browns too quickly, cover the edges with foil.
Cool & Serve:
Let the pie cool to room temperature before slicing.
Serve as is, or with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
