Super Simple Dump Meal: This budget-friendly meal is a breeze to make, costing around $8 or less, and it’s perfect for feeding a crowd!
Ingredients:
- 1 package of Kielbasa or smoked sausage (I use Ekrich Sausage), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 32 oz bag of frozen hashbrowns
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup milk
- 1 (10 oz) can of cream of mushroom or chicken soup
- Salt, pepper, minced garlic, and onion powder (to taste)

Instructions:
1. Grease your slow cooker (using crockpot liners makes cleanup a breeze!).
2. Add the sausage, frozen hashbrowns, diced onion, and 1 ½ cups of cheddar cheese to the slow cooker.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the cream of mushroom (or chicken) soup, milk, and sour cream.
4. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, minced garlic, and onion powder to taste.
5. Pour the soup mixture over the sausage and hashbrowns in the slow cooker.
6. Top with the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
7. Cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
8. Serve with a side salad, roasted vegetables, or some Texas garlic toast to complete the meal!
