Halloween Vampire Fudge
Ingredients:
- 2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Red food coloring
- Black food coloring
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- Edible vampire fangs or candy eyes for decoration (optional)
Directions:
1. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
2. In a medium saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and cocoa powder over low heat.
3. Stir constantly until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
5. Divide the fudge mixture into two separate bowls.
6. Add black food coloring to one bowl and stir until you reach a deep black color.
7. Add red food coloring to the other bowl and stir until you reach a vibrant red color.
8. Pour the black fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
9. Carefully spoon the red fudge mixture over the black layer in random spots to create a marbled effect.
10. Use a toothpick or skewer to swirl the two colors together gently.
11. Sprinkle mini marshmallows and chopped pecans over the top if desired.
12. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
13. Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper overhang and cut into squares.
14. Decorate with edible vampire fangs or candy eyes for a spooky touch.
