Cheesy Hamburger and Scalloped Potato Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a casserole dish.
2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic. Drain any excess fat.
3. In a separate bowl, mix together the milk, chicken broth, and flour until smooth.
4. Layer half of the potatoes in the bottom of the casserole dish.
5. Top with half of the ground beef mixture and half of the cheese.
6. Repeat with another layer of potatoes, beef, and cheese.
7. Pour the milk mixture over the top.
8. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
