Chocolate cream cake 🍫🍮
An elegant and delicious cake, ideal to surprise on any special occasion. It combines a crispy base, a soft cream and a irresistible chocolate glaze.

Ingredients:
For the base:
• 200 g of digestive cookies or María 🍪
• 100 g of melted butter 🧈
For cream:
• 500 ml of milk 🥛
• 200 ml of cream to mount 🍶
• 3 egg yolks 🥚
• 100 g of sugar 🍯
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence 🍦
• 3 tablespoons of corn (cornstarch) 🌽
For chocolate glaze:
• 150 g of black or semi bitter chocolate 🍫
• 100 ml of cream to mount 🍶
• 1 tablespoon of butter 🧈

Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the base
1. Crush the cookies until you get fine powder.
2. Mix the crushed cookies with melted butter to form a wet dough.
3. Pour the mixture into a removable mold (20-23 cm) and press well to be compact.
4. Refrigera for 30 minutes.
Step 2: Prepare the cream
1. Heat the milk and cream over medium heat until it boils.
2. Beat the yolks with the sugar until they are creamy.
3. Dissolve the cornstarch in a little cold milk, add it to the yolks and mix well.
4. Pour the mixture into hot milk, beating constantly until thickened (5-7 minutes).
5. Add the vanilla essence and let cool to room temperature, removing from time to time.
Step 3: Prepare chocolate glaze
1. Heat the cream in the microwave until it is hot (without boiling).
2. Add the chopped chocolate, let stand and then mix until you get a soft mixture.
3. Add the butter and mix until it is bright and soft.
Step 4: Mount the cake
1. Pour the cold cream on the cookie base.
2. Cover with chocolate glaze and spread with a spatula.
3. Refrigera for at least 4 hours or all night.
Step 5: Serve and enjoy
1. Carefully unmold the cake.
2. Decorate with chocolate pieces or fresh fruits such as strawberries.
