🫧 Rainbow Glow-in-the-Dark Bubbles : Colourful, Magical, Glowing & Perfect for Night-Time Fun and Sensory Play!

Ingredients (Blacklight Reactive Rainbow Version):
(Makes 4–6 small colour batches of bubble solution)

- 1 1/2 cups bubble solution (store-bought or homemade, see below)
- 4–6 highlighters in neon colours (yellow, pink, orange, green, blue, purple)
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 tbsp dish soap
- Optional: 1 tbsp corn syrup or sugar (for longer-lasting bubbles)
- UV blacklight for glow effect
- Small clear plastic cups or bottles for each colour

---

Homemade Bubble Base (if not using pre-made):
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp dish soap
- 1 tbsp corn syrup or glycerin

---

Directions:

Step 1: Extract the Glow
1. Carefully crack open your highlighters and remove the ink tubes (wear gloves).
2. Soak each ink tube in 1/4 cup warm water — one colour per cup — for 10–15 minutes.
3. The water will take on the bright, UV-reactive colour of the highlighter.

---

Step 2: Mix the Bubble Colours
1. In each coloured glow water, add about 1/4 cup bubble solution and a few drops of dish soap.
2. Stir gently — avoid creating foam.
3. Repeat for each colour (you’ll end up with several jars of neon-coloured bubble mix).

---

Step 3: Time to Bubble
1. Use bubble wands or straws to blow your glow-in-the-dark rainbow bubbles.
2. Shine a blacklight or UV flashlight to see the colours glow as the bubbles float!
3. Enjoy the magical glow show in the dark!

---

Tips:

- These bubbles glow under blacklight, not in complete darkness. Set up UV lights outside or indoors for best results.
- For rainbow swirl effects, blow multiple colours together using different wands or dip a wand into two solutions.
- Always supervise young children and avoid contact with eyes or mouths.
- Clean surfaces after play as coloured solutions can stain.
