CREAMY CAJUN CHICKEN AND BROCCOLI LINGUINE

Ingredients:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
12 oz linguine pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups broccoli florets (steamed)
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

Cook the linguine pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken strips with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Cook the chicken in the skillet for about 6-7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for a few minutes to thicken slightly.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese, allowing it to melt into the sauce.
Add the cooked linguine and steamed broccoli to the skillet, tossing them in the creamy Cajun sauce until well coated.
Return the chicken to the skillet, gently mixing everything together. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to ensure everything is heated through.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve.
