My version of macaroni and tomatoes. I like mine juicy.
Recipe:
Sauteed onions in a good amount of butter.
Boil a little over two cups of elbow macaroni. Drain most of the water.
Add onions and butter along with salt and pepper to taste to your macaroni.
I added one can of petite diced tomatoes and a can of regular diced tomatoes.
Add as much as you like of tomato or V-8 Juice for your sauce. I also add some water.
Simmer until boiling. The longer this sits, the thicker it seems to get.
When I warm up a bowl of leftover (if there is any), I add a bit more tomato juice or water.
