Strawberry Shortcake Kabobs
Ingredients:
1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
1 pound pound cake, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup milk chocolate chips
2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
Bamboo skewers
Directions:
Thread the halved strawberries and pound cake cubes onto bamboo skewers, alternating between the two.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
In another microwave-safe bowl, combine the milk chocolate chips and the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
Drizzle the melted white chocolate over half of the kabobs and the melted milk chocolate over the other half.
Place the kabobs on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.
Serve chilled or at room temperature.
