Keto Sausage & Cheese Rolls (Fathead Dough) – ≈4g net carbs each
Ingredients (12 rolls)
Dough:
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 oz cream cheese
1 ½ cups almond flour
2 large eggs
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
Filling:
1 lb ground sausage (pork or chicken)
1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp Italian seasoning
Egg wash:
1 egg, beaten
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
In a skillet, cook sausage until browned. Drain excess grease, stir in seasonings, and let cool. Mix in shredded cheese.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt mozzarella and cream cheese (about 90 sec). Stir until smooth. Add almond flour, eggs, baking powder, and salt. Mix into a dough.
Divide dough into 12 portions. Flatten each piece into a small circle. Place sausage filling in the center, fold dough over, and pinch edges to seal.
Arrange seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush with egg wash.
Bake 18–22 minutes, until golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.
