CAJUN GARLIC BUTTER STEAK BITES WITH CREAMY TORTELLINI ALFREDO
Ingredients:
1 lb rib-eye or sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
12 oz cheese tortellini
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup beef broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp cream cheese (for extra creaminess)
1 tbsp butter
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
1. Cook the Tortellini: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the cheese tortellini and cook according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
2. Season and Sear the Steak Bites: In a medium bowl, toss steak cubes with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites and cook for 4–5 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
3. Make the Creamy Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in beef broth, letting it reduce for 1–2 minutes.
Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, butter, and cream cheese. Simmer for 3–4 minutes, stirring until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
4. Combine Everything: Add the cooked tortellini into the sauce and toss to coat evenly. Return the steak bites to the skillet and stir to combine. Let everything simmer together for 1–2 minutes to meld the flavors.
5. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving. Enjoy the creamy, spicy, garlicky indulgence!
