Tennessee Onions
A rich and creamy baked onion dish featuring sweet onions smothered in a blend of cheeses and baked to perfection.
Ingredients:
2 large sweet onions, sliced into rings
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
Method:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Layer onion rings in a greased baking dish.
Sprinkle mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan cheeses over the onions.
Pour heavy cream over the cheese and onions.
Season with salt and pepper, and dot with butter pieces.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the dish is bubbly and the top is golden brown.
