🇮🇹 Olive All’Ascolana (Stuffed Fried Olives)
Crispy golden olives filled with savory meat and cheese—perfect as an Italian appetizer.
Ingredients:
• 20 large green olives, pitted
• 120g ground beef or pork
• 2 tbsp (15g) grated Parmesan
• 1 egg
• 2 tbsp breadcrumbs (plus extra for coating)
• Salt and pepper
• Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Cook ground meat in a pan until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
2. Mix in Parmesan, egg, and breadcrumbs. Let cool slightly.
3. Stuff each olive with the meat mixture.
4. Roll stuffed olives in breadcrumbs.
5. Deep fry in hot oil until golden and crisp. Drain and serve warm.
