Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. Cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
4. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets.
5. Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until edges are golden brown and centers are still slightly soft.
6. Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
