Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta
Ingredients:
1 pound pasta (penne, rotini, or your favorite shape)
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
4 hamburger buns, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons butter
Instructions:
1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2. While pasta cooks, brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
3. Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3-5 minutes.
4. Stir in cream of mushroom soup, milk, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until sauce has thickened slightly.
5. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and stir to combine.
6. In a separate skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add hamburger bun pieces and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and slightly crispy. This will take about 5-7 minutes.
7. Stir the crumbled bacon into the pasta mixture.
8. Divide pasta among four bowls. Top each serving with crispy hamburger bun pieces and shredded cheddar cheese. Serve immediately.
