Tender veal in a creamy white sauce with mushrooms and sweet carrots—classic French elegance.
Ingredients:
• 1/2 pound veal, cut into cubes
• 1/2 cup mushrooms, halved
• 1 carrot, chopped
• 1/2 onion, diced
• 1 tbsp butter
• 1 tbsp flour
• 1/2 cup cream
• 1/2 cup veal or chicken broth
• Salt, pepper, and lemon juice
Instructions:
1. Simmer veal in broth for 45 minutes until tender.
2. In another pan, sauté onions, carrots, and mushrooms in butter.
3. Stir in flour to make a roux.
