Chicken and Dumplings

Ingredients:
- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3 carrots, peeled and chopped
- 3 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat.
2. Add in the carrots, celery, and onion, sauté until softened.
3. Add in the chicken pieces, sauté until browned.
4. Pour in the chicken broth and milk, bring to a simmer.
5. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and pepper. Gradually stir in the mixture to form a dough.
6. Drop spoonfuls of dough into the simmering chicken mixture. Cover and let cook for 15-20 minutes.
7. Serve hot and enjoy!
