Sweet Potato Sloppy Joe Bowls
Growing up I always REALLY enjoyed Sloppy Joes made from store-bought packets or a can of premade Sloppy Joe sauce.
Sloppy Joes are surprisingly easy to make from scratch with just a few simple ingredients you likely have at home.
Our homemade Sloppy Joe recipe has just a hint of sweetness from the tomato sauce/ketchup, & maple syrup/honey, and it gets a lot of flavor from the fresh chopped vegetables. We achieved a nice complex tangy finish thanks to the mustard, and coconut aminos.
You’re going to love it! Adjust seasonings and ingredients to your liking or whatever you have on hand that you need to use up. They’ll turn out great!
