🥄 Texas Roadhouse Green Beans (Copycat)
🧂 Ingredients:
4 slices bacon, diced
1 small yellow onion, finely chopped
2 cans (14.5 oz each) green beans (drained, or use fresh/frozen)
1/4 cup chicken broth or water
1 tsp garlic (minced)
Salt & black pepper to taste
Optional: dash of brown sugar or vinegar for balance
🔧 Directions:
In a saucepan, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving grease in the pan.
Sauté onions and garlic in the bacon drippings until translucent.
Add green beans and chicken broth. Stir in bacon, salt, pepper, and any optional extras.
Simmer uncovered over medium-low heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
