Garlic Herb Beef with Creamy Penne
Tender Garlic Herb Steak Tossed with Creamy Herb Penne
Ingredients:
300g (10.5 oz) penne pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
500g (1.1 lbs) beef sirloin, thinly sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Optional: red pepper flakes for heat
Directions:
Cook penne pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the sliced beef and season with salt, pepper, oregano, basil, and paprika. Sauté until browned and cooked through, about 4–5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens slightly.
Add cooked penne and beef back to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly in the creamy sauce.
Add lemon juice and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Adjust seasoning if needed.
Serve hot with an extra sprinkle of Parmesan and optional red pepper flakes.
