🍫 Oreo Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Glaze 🥛
Ingredients
For the Dough:
2 ¾ cups (345g) all-purpose flour
¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar
1 tsp salt
2 ¼ tsp instant yeast
½ cup (120ml) warm milk
¼ cup (60ml) warm water
1 large egg
¼ cup (55g) unsalted butter, melted
For the Filling:
¼ cup (55g) unsalted butter, softened
½ cup (100g) brown sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
12 Oreo cookies, crushed (filling included)
For the Cream Cheese Glaze:
4 oz (115g) cream cheese, softened
¼ cup (55g) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1-2 tbsp milk (as needed)
Instructions
Make the Dough:
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
Add warm milk, water, egg, and melted butter. Mix until a soft dough forms.
Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
Prepare the Filling:
Roll out the dough into a 12x16-inch rectangle.
Spread softened butter evenly over the dough.
Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, and crushed Oreos.
Roll & Cut:
Tightly roll the dough into a log and slice into 9-12 rolls.
Place in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Cover and let rise 30 minutes.
Bake:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Glaze & Serve:
Beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add milk as needed for desired consistency.
Drizzle over warm rolls and enjoy!
