BASIC CREPE RECIPE π₯ π₯ π₯ π₯
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs
1Β½ cups milk
2 tbsp melted butter (plus more for the pan)
ΒΌ tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar (optional, for sweet crepes)
Β½ tsp vanilla extract (optional, for sweet crepes)
Instructions:
1. Mix the batter:
In a bowl, whisk flour and eggs together. Gradually add milk, whisking until smooth. Stir in melted butter, salt, and sugar/vanilla if using.
2. Let it rest:
Let the batter rest for 15β30 minutes. This helps the crepes come out more tender.
3. Heat the pan:
Lightly butter a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, pour in about ΒΌ cup of batter and swirl to coat the bottom.
4. Cook:
Cook for about 1β2 minutes or until the edges lift. Flip and cook the other side for 30 seconds.
5. Serve:
Stack crepes on a plate. Fill with fruit, Nutella, whipped cream, cheese, or anything you like!
