blackberry cobbler
Ingredients:
4 c. fresh blackberries
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. all purpose flour
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 egg
1/2 tsp. turbinado sugar (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°.
Wash and drain blackberries; pour into an 8x8 inch square baking pan.
Pour lemon juice over blackberries in pan.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, melted butter, and egg. Mix well.
Spoon mixture over blackberries.
Sprinkle with turbinado sugar (optional).
Bake at 375° 35-45 minutes, until filling is bubbling and top is golden brown.
