These delicious Philly cheesesteak stuffed cheesy breadsticks are the perfect snack or appetizer! Filled with savory steak, veggies, and ooey-gooey cheese, they’re sure to satisfy your cravings. 🥖🧀
Ingredients:
1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
1 cup cooked steak (thinly sliced)
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1/2 bell pepper, finely chopped
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup provolone cheese, shredded
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper, sautéing until they soften, about 4-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Add the cooked steak slices, stir well, and cook for another 2-3 minutes before removing from heat.
3. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle measuring approximately 12x8 inches.
4. Evenly distribute the steak and veggie mixture down the center of the dough, leaving about an inch on each side. Top with shredded mozzarella and provolone cheese.
5. Carefully fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges by pinching them together. Slice into 1-2 inch wide breadsticks.
6. Place the breadsticks on the prepared baking sheet, brush the tops with melted butter, and sprinkle with garlic powder.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until golden and the cheese is melted.
8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley for extra flavor.
