Old Time Oven Peach Cobbler πŸ’›πŸ‘

Ingredients:

1 large can of sliced peaches, drained
1 cup Bisquick mix
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
Vanilla ice cream, optional for serving

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Pour melted butter into the bottom of a 9x9-inch or similar-sized baking dish.

In a mixing bowl, combine Bisquick mix, milk, sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Stir until smooth.

Pour the batter evenly over the melted butter in the baking dish. Do not stir.

Arrange drained peach slices evenly over the batter. Again, do not mixβ€”just layer.

Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the batter comes out clean.

Let cool for 10 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, if desired.

Tips:
Don’t stir after layeringβ€”this creates the cobbler’s signature crust.
Use peaches in juice (not syrup) for better flavor balance.
