Garlic Butter Steak Bites & Creamy Alfredo Tortellini
Ingredients:
For the Steak Bites:
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
4 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the Creamy Alfredo Tortellini:
1 lb cheese tortellini
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons butter
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Steak Bites: Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the steak cubes and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned on all sides and cooked to your desired doneness (about 5-7 minutes for medium-rare). Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant. Stir in the parsley and oregano.
4. Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat them in the garlic butter mixture.
5. Prepare the Creamy Alfredo Tortellini: While the steak is cooking, cook the tortellini according to package directions. Drain well.
6. In a large saucepan, melt the 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
7. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and stir in the Parmesan cheese, basil, salt, and pepper. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
8. Add the cooked tortellini to the sauce and toss to coat.
9. Serve: Divide the creamy Alfredo tortellini among plates. Top with the garlic butter steak bites and serve immediately. Enjoy!
