Spare Ribs Recipe

Ingredients:

2 racks pork spare ribs (about 3-4 lbs)

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon smoked paprika

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite kind)

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Directions:

Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with foil.

In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, cayenne, salt, and pepper.

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs, then rub the spice mix all over both sides.

Wrap each rack tightly in foil and place on the baking sheet.

Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until ribs are tender.

While the ribs are baking, mix barbecue sauce with apple cider vinegar and Worcestershire in a saucepan. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Once ribs are done, remove from foil and brush generously with BBQ sauce.

Broil or grill on high for 5–7 minutes until sauce is caramelized and sticky.

Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
