Bacon Cheeseburger Noodle Bake
Ingredients:
• 12 oz egg noodles 🍝
• 1 lb ground beef 🥩
• 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled 🥓
• 1 small onion, diced 🧅
• 2 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
• 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes, drained 🍅
• 1 cup ketchup 🍅
• 1 tablespoon mustard (yellow or Dijon)
• 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 🧀
• 1/2 cup sour cream 🥄
• Salt and pepper to taste 🧂
• Fresh parsley for garnish 🌿
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and set aside.
2. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
3. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
4. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
5. Stir in diced tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
6. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and stir to combine. Remove from heat.
7. In a large bowl, mix sour cream and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Fold this mixture into the noodle and beef mixture.
8. Transfer everything to the prepared baking dish. Top with remaining cheese and crumbled bacon.
9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
