Halloween Dracula’s Dark Cherry Fudge
Ingredients:
- 2 cups dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup dried dark cherries, chopped
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Red food coloring (optional, for a blood effect)
- Halloween-themed sprinkles or edible eyes (optional)
Directions:
1. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
2. In a medium saucepan, combine the dark chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter over low heat.
3. Stir constantly until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
5. Fold in the chopped dried dark cherries evenly throughout the fudge mixture.
6. If desired, add a few drops of red food coloring and gently swirl with a toothpick to create a blood-like effect.
7. Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
8. Decorate with Halloween-themed sprinkles or edible eyes if using.
9. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until firm.
10. Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang and cut into squares.
