Ground Beef and Gravy Over Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Mashed potatoes, for serving
Instructions:
1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add in the diced onion and garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.
2. Sprinkle the flour over the beef mixture and stir to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes to cook out the raw flour taste.
3. Slowly pour in the beef broth, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Bring to a simmer and cook until the gravy has thickened.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Serve the ground beef and gravy over a generous serving of mashed potatoes.
