Thin Mint Hot Latte
Ingredients:
- 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1 shot of espresso or ½ cup strong brewed coffee
- 2-3 Thin Mint cookies (or peppermint cookies)
- 1-2 teaspoons chocolate syrup
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Crushed Thin Mint cookies for garnish (optional)
- Chocolate shavings or peppermint candy (optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the coffee or espresso: Brew your espresso or strong coffee and set aside.
2. Infuse the milk: In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat. Add the Thin Mint cookies and stir gently to help them melt into the milk, creating a peppermint chocolate flavor. Alternatively, you can steep the cookies in the milk for a few minutes and then strain out the cookie bits.
3. Mix chocolate syrup: Stir in the chocolate syrup until well combined.
4. Combine: Pour the hot infused milk into a mug with the brewed coffee or espresso.
5. Top and garnish: If desired, top with whipped cream, crushed Thin Mint cookies, chocolate shavings, or a peppermint candy.
