Meatball Sub Sandwiches
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 4 sub rolls
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
3. Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
4. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
5. In a saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat.
6. Split the sub rolls in half and place 3-4 meatballs in each roll.
7. Spoon marinara sauce over the meatballs and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
8. Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
9. Enjoy hot!
