Nutella Bueno Cupcakes Recipe
Makes: 12 cupcakes

Ingredients
For the cupcakes:
1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (45g) unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 large eggs
3/4 cup (150g) granulated sugar
1/2 cup (120ml) vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup (120ml) buttermilk
1/3 cup (80ml) hot water or coffee (enhances chocolate flavor)
12 tsp Nutella (for filling)
For the Nutella buttercream:
1 cup (230g) unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup (150g) Nutella
2 cups (250g) powdered sugar
2–3 tbsp heavy cream or milk
Pinch of salt
For topping:
2 Kinder Bueno bars, cut into small pieces
Extra drizzle of melted Nutella (optional)
Instructions
Make the cupcakes:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.
In a bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, beat eggs and sugar until light. Add oil and vanilla, then mix in buttermilk.
Add the dry ingredients and mix until smooth. Stir in hot water or coffee.
Fill each cupcake liner 2/3 full and bake for 18–20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool completely. Core the center of each cupcake and fill with 1 tsp Nutella.
Make the Nutella buttercream:
Beat butter until creamy. Add Nutella and beat until fluffy.
Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing well.
Add cream 1 tbsp at a time until fluffy. Add a pinch of salt to balance sweetness.
Assemble:
Pipe the Nutella buttercream onto the cooled cupcakes.
Top with pieces of Kinder Bueno and drizzle with melted Nutella if desired.
