CREAMY GARLIC PARMESAN CHICKEN BOWTIE PASTA

Ingredients:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

1. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Season the chicken: In a medium bowl, toss the chicken strips with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
3. Sear the chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
4. Make the sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
5. Add cheese: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
6. Combine: Add the cooked pasta and chicken back into the skillet. Toss gently to coat everything in the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.
7. Finish & serve: Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
