Cajun Cheesy Steak Bites and Rotini Pasta

Ingredients:

2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
12 oz rotini pasta
1/4 cup reserved pasta water
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Directions:

Season the steak bites with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove the steak bites and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Meanwhile, cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup of pasta water.
Add the cooked pasta and reserved pasta water to the creamy sauce, tossing to coat.
Return the steak bites to the skillet, mixing gently with the pasta and sauce.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
