Easy Chicken and Broccoli Pasta
Ingredients:
• 8 oz penne pasta
• 2 cups broccoli florets
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 small onion, diced
• 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
• 2 cups whole milk
• 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
• 2 cooked chicken breasts, chopped or shredded
• Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:
1. Cook the Pasta & Broccoli:
• Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
• Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions.
• In the last 2–3 minutes, add the broccoli to the same pot.
• Drain both together and set aside.
2. Sauté Onion & Garlic:
• In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
• Add onion and cook until softened, about 3–4 minutes.
• Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
3. Make the Creamy Sauce:
• Sprinkle flour over the onion/garlic and stir for 1 minute to form a roux.
• Slowly whisk in the milk, cooking and stirring until thickened (about 3–5 minutes).
• Stir in the Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and smooth.
• Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
4. Combine Everything:
• Add the chicken, cooked pasta, and broccoli to the sauce.
• Toss everything together until well coated and heated through.
5. Serve:
• Garnish with extra Parmesan and freshly cracked black pepper if desired.
• Serve warm and enjoy!
